I love my little horsey!! She really is the best.
After 5 months off out in the field all over the winter - she hasn't even seen a stable, (I've turned into a fair weather rider!) she had her shoes put back on today. This means it was first day riding!! So, I just tack up and go, and she goes as if I had not given her a holiday.
Whats more incredable is that we meet tractors with folky things on the front, another tractor with spikey thingys on the back and a lorry unloading fertilizer bags on a single track lane, we just walk right past without a hair out of place. It really is a fantastic feeling when you know you are safe and the little mare is 100% trustworthy. She walks in an outline when asked and leg yielded like a pro when asked too.
Can't wait to go to a jumping party!!!!!!
I can even forgive her for being 'a bit of a madam' with the farrier!!
