This might sound really stupid(yet I am still doing to ask
). I was just having a general feel over my horse and whilst I cant see his ribs I can *just* feel them, but he isnt squidgy, and when he stands up square his bum and sides are rather firm. Also when he is ridden you can see a line going from his elbow to his stifle.
Now does this mean that he is well muscled up? He doesnt look like the pics u see of there really muscly horses though, but he definately feels - firmer.
When he was REALLY fat when I first got him he was a LOT squidgier than he is now, and even last year around his time he was rather fleshy. He was ridden almost every day when he was on loan, and he can quite easily do 2+ hours of school work etc at the moment and not get tired/break a sweat.
