That sounds like a film title if ever I heard one lol
I had a pony as a teenager, Mr Smug. He was my be all and end all. He saw me through some tough times and we shared some fantastic times together. He was my best friend.
He came to college with me, when I went to study equestrianism. But my ill health and my parents financial situation changing meant that the old boy had to be sold. He went to a lovely family (whose names have completely gone from my memory) who I know loved him dearly. I visited him a year before I got marred (that was 2002) but assume he's been sold on since.
So how do I go about finding the old boy, if indeed he's still alive? I've googled and found a show entry from a year or so ago from a riding club in Derbyshire but that was all-it may not even be 'my' smug. I suppose I need to find the family who bought him off me, don't I? (c'mon memory, kick in...)
I dont have photos but a short description-
was born 25th May 1988, a smidge under 14hh bay section C. Various white bits but nothing extrodinary- aside from perhaps the white stripe from his sheath to the middle of his belly.
Totally bombproof until you tried to clip him. Broken to drive too.
Bred in Old Weston with his full name being 'westonian Mr Smug' however he left me with no papers.
