Hi there

I am looking to find out what happened to a horse called Java Moonraker, stable name at the time was Moses, he was 4 4/5 years ago so would be 8/9 now. Big (18hhish) bright bay with big feet, a slightly angular quarter and a slightly long/weak neck and mild sweetitch.

I rode him at Cavan sales in either 2007 or 2008, my memory is naff for dates he would have been 4 then. Was being produced as a show jumper and had a decent pop in him but wasn't top level standard at the time, a touch gangly and found short distances difficult, didn't always pick up his feet, I felt he would improve with age as he was sooo big and looked a bit immature. Always hard to get weight on and very very laid back. One of the nicest horses I ever rode and had lovely paces.

I just wanted to know if anyone would have any idea where he might be now. I like short, pony bred mares. He was a giant, gelding, warmblood and I loved him. Something about him.

Thanks very much but I dont think they can be the same, he isnt big enough and is too old, he would have been a 2003 baby and I am pretty sure he went through Cavan in 2007. I'm afraid I don't know his breeding.

I think this is him :D, The height seems a touch short as he really was veru tall even on a yard full of ISH but the rest is right I think. I am fairly sure he is no longer with Judy as I think she was the owner when he was sold and the registration is expired but it is a great starting point especialy as i could not remember Judy's surname. Thanks for the link Cuffey.

Judy is the person that uses the Java prefix - do you still need the number - happy to search through things if you do -
