But does anyone in my area (Suffolk/Norfolk border) use Alfa A or Topspec calm condition cubes?

As I have 2 bags of Alfa A that J can no longer have (looking a changing him onto Alfa A oil)

And a bag of cc cubes that he cant tolerate

Anyone want them? Otherwise the rats will eat them. Cant take them back as got them from different feed merchant than usual which is miles away.

Don't want anything for them

Apparently the coating on the alfa original isn't good for him, didn't realise. The website recommends the alfa oil as it has no sugars present. (might help stop the bumps)

There is probably someone locally who will take it, but thought I would check on here first, you never know

We think that one of ours was going bonkers on mollassed Alfalfa (now fine) and the other one has no sign of mud fever scabs now we have stopped feeding her on it.

Oh god- def try and get the sarcens Equi Jewel! and Hi fi with lots of soya and linseed oil. Like try and give him a good pint or more of oil a day if he'll eat it.
Can you get some really high quality hay?
Over the years I swear that my horse's condition has been totally dictated by the quality of the hay that they are having. When the hay is good that is all that they have needed to keep condition on- they have never needed any/much hard feed at all just balancer to make sure that they get the nutrients for good hoof growth.

I have just found the equi jewel online, will get some for him as sounds perfect. He has good hay at night and the EH hayeleg during the day when he is out. He gets loads so there is always some left.

I do think this has all stemed from him being ill and then me having to work him so hard to get him to come to his senses. It has suddenly just hit him and he looks very ribby, although incredibly shiny!

Dengie recommend the alfa oil with alfa beet, so could give him equi jewel, Alfa Oil, beet, plus his balancer plus soya and linseed oil, do you think this sounds ok? (sounds very complicated to me
