I've got a 5ft3 rug on ebay atm and it runs out tomorrow, anyone looking for a bargain, it is in fab condition and starting price of 8.99.
Also got a wintec narrow gullet on there starting price 2.99

Just wondered why so many "ordinary posters" take offence at advertising? It's no skin off their nose so why do they "police" and offer "advice" like they do? Just wondered whats in it for "them". XXXXXXXXXXXXXXx

I think it's because, if everyone ignored this rule, the whole forum would be unusable for its intended purpose of discussion.

Well in this case the poster did actually ask whether it was allowed. So people were only answering her question for her

I don't know if I sounded really harsh in my previous post, but I didn't mean to! I have seen the problems caused by advertising posts on other forums - in a couple of cases, regulars were allowed to post adverts which led to huge amounts of complaining from those who wanted to spam about favouritism. To be honest, the no advertising policy probably makes things a lot easier for the mods/admins as they can immediately ban people who sign up just to spam.
