This evening i went to see this fella:

http://www.horsedeals.co.uk/horses-...-Arkan-son-of-the-great-Arko__12-11-12-556557

he is sweet on the ground (tried to eat my hoodie!!) has very nice movement and a lovely jump BUT and this is a stupid but (please slap me!) hes not like freddie (my nutty TB) and i know before anyone says it..... hes a warmblood hes never going to be like a nutty TB!!! that is the only conclusion i can draw from this evening!!

i liked him and im going back to see him again at the weekend!! he is green on his flatwork (think gangly baby at times!!) but that can easily be improved he was genuine, forward going and his jumping is already established - he is just not what im used to.... but he was nice!!!

the best part was he actually stayed in a rhythm when he approached the fence unlike freddie who canters sideways and leaps from about 4 strides away!! i had forgotten the feeling of jumping a sane horse!!! :D

anyway just thought id share the fact that i actually sat on a real horse tonight!! it has been a while!! :D

Looks very nice. I suppose we get use to one type of horse and have that bond. I know when I went looking too soon after a PTS that I tried not to compare but its hard not to.

Hope the next viewing goes well but looks a nice horse and home bred too.

thank you for your comment, i think my heart wants freddie to come back into full work but my head understands that due to his injury he chances are extremely slim that he will jump the height i want again, hopefully going to see this fella again tomorrow :)
