A while ago I posted saying I was going on holls and thinking of sending my boy to my instructors for the week for boot camp! but felt like I was wimping out by not doing the work myself

Well I'm back and have ridden him twice, once in a lesson when I picked him up and once at home. What a change he holds a out line so much easier he is only 5 so still needs to muscle up, when I left he would not go over a pole on the ground jumped 2ft - big grin

Jumped him at home only 1'6 as was only me and daughter at the yard and did not want to push my luck but he flew it did not look twice

It was not cheap but he has come on so much that if I had spent the money on lessons I dont think we would have come this far, so as my daughter said the only thing stopping you now mum is you and your numpty worrying!!!!!

Thats great, there will be no stopping you now!

I've done this before - and it was worth it. No harm in getting professional help to speed things along a bit. I'm actually thinking of having my instructor come and ride for me once a week....
