Not sure why a new post was not made (update on LL's dogs)

I also agree that LL had a mental problem, to not beware of your capabilities to that extent is not normal.
Sadly this happenes and is happening as we speak.
I have little doubt Buster would have been placed in rehoming facility and would hopefully have found a home by now.
I have so say as disheartened as I am by this CC you have raised my spirits of your mention of the homes of the dogs that have found top class homes from here.

Aswell as amy and Winston
Also little Alfie the border terrier (taken from our rescue by Starbucks)
Ruby (the puppy greyhound rehomed to RinkyDink from here)

In saying that as much as Buster was not one of our rescues I have had to think twice about trusting (quite sad really)

She's mentally sound enough to have taken just down her site and her Facebook page where she was asking for donations to help her 'rescue' horses. A couple of those those she 'rescued' last year for a pittance (£1) were apparently sold on for a bit more.

what a shame for the dogs. hope they both have found new homes. i remember the post as i got shot down in flames for asking if she could afford to keep, feed, and vaccinate the dogs as she was unable to raise the train fare to collect him! Lets hope the dogs and horses are now with someone who can afford to feed them and love them. I hope her little boy is ok too. If the flat was as bad as being made out to be i daresay SS will be involved.

Did you speak to her before or after she had the dog??

Both. I've rang up today and got put through to the police who were incredibly helpful. They gave me the number to the shelter where he will most likey be (or has been). There was no answer so left a long message and asked them to ring me back, just waiting now. If they don't ring by this afternoon I will ring again.

Was just thinking of your remarks when catching up on this and how right you were :(

I was so torn over Buster having seen his gratitude to be out of his cage in Jadeys video - now seeing him in that photo in LLs flat had made my heart break again. I so wish i'd taken him but felt it wouldn't be fair on my own 2.

Jadey - my fingers are crossed very tightly for you that you hear Buster is safe and happy.

What really pisses me off is that LL knew what her situation was and how her animals were living and she added another one into that misery. She must have looked at the photos we post on here of our happy dogs and read all about their walks and training etc... surely she would've compared her own animals and realised she wasn't coping? depressed or not, don't make your animals suffer for it!

Thanks for the link Cayla.

Yep, you did indeed voice concern re the "friday pay day", I must foolishly admit, I thought "pay day" meant (wage), as where I come from "pay day" is not benefit collection day (it's just that), and having horses, dogs and cats on that scale I presumed she had a job as would never have thought you could keep so many animals on "benefits", I certainly need m wage and some to feed my tribe and I no longer have horses.

So whilst I thought "alot of people" mention how they manage bills to get them to pay day, (I was drastically wrong) in this case.
I must say after that initial post the whole "pay day"/dongle running out and mobile never having any credit ran very thin with me.
As we saw pictures of him merrilly travelling along on the bus I think we assumed again the wrong conclusions (he looked healthy and has weight on him when given to her) so of course he could be paraded around, unlike the other 2 :( this is my thinking now atleast).
Like I mentioned I did not personally rehome him but still feel I had some part in "being sucked in by the lies" and helping transport him.

So I take it that was very recent?

Im still baffled how you can afford that many horses on livery in London on "benefits"

I can't even afford 1 oop north :o

I think I also defended the 'pay day' thing, because I thought she meant pay.... from a job. We run low on funds for a couple of days before pay day, I thought LL was just low on funds before her pay came in. :(

Jadey - It would be lovely if you could get Buster home with you, I take it your mum has changed her mind about having him?

She took the FB page down yesterday.

She can't afford the horses - she wasn't paying the livery for them. She had seven horses abandoned over the winter on the YO's hay field, and wouldn't move them, or remove them, or answer calls. She hadn't been to the yard for months apparently.

The YO had no choice but to get rid of them to whoever would take them as the bigger charities couldn't/wouldn't help out.

By the time those of us looking for the yard had found it, the YO had pretty much made the decision. The horses went within a week of us knowing about it after the charities could do nothing.

Buster has been rehomed :) we have left our details with the RSCPA to pass on to the new owners so fingers crossed they will get in touch with us :D
