These really are not very good, but she is by un Reg ID ex of a 3/4 TB mare. Dont know why her breeder did not reg her, assume because the stallion was unreg;

She wants to breed a useful riding horse which can be shown & she can do some stressage with. The mare stands about 16.3hh. I think secretly she fancies a coloured so that might narrow things down a bit. I thought a nice Arab as the mare has the height & substance & it would be eligible for PBA classes. Anyway thoughts please if you dont mind.

This is probably a wasted one as she does not stand like this!

Lovely stallion called Vekaam who is an anglo Arab and throws the nicest tempered horses/PBA's I have ever known which make great riding horses allrounders who have that showy side to impress!

, but if you want to go down the Arab AND coloured route try.......

http://www.stallionsonline.co.uk/viewitem.php?id=9421&t=A%20ChanceOf%20Fame%20(us%20imp) or
http://www.ctarabians.com/KingsMuscateerCTA.html or
http://www.arabianlines.com/Stallions/Pop_Ups/SHR_popup.htm or
JCS Aramoun ........multi Champion coloured PBA.... can't find him online but could get details for you.

There are plenty out there and with such a nice mare to start with the choice is
vast!

My choice would be towards a lightweight coloured warmblood, say something like Vincent..... http://www.millfieldstud.co.uk/vincentII.htm which could refine the mare plus put some lift into the paces which the arab bred ones may not necessarily do.

breed to improve rideability and performance ... she looks well built and nice natured . if you were to be picky you may want to add a bit of quality "refinement". impo there is so many warmbloods and irish sports horses who can do this for you with less "chance" i wouldnt be using TBs or coloureds (sorry don't mean to offend.. breed to coloureds for 1 thing ... to get coloureds but thats a different argument) use a quality stallion with a lot of blood such as sir shutterfly or jaguar mail, but also caretino glory in uk and lux in ireland all have refining qualities ... but many more.. breed to improve, not for colour and remember beauty is what beauty does..

She has plenty of time to look & if I go with her I may get tempted. I keep thinking Prince will 4 & Giz 3 when a foal was born, my daughter will be too busy with them to worry about Mo!! My mare though is a totally different type & needs a different type of stallion.

Well if you're thinking Arab, then Tobago seems to be the obvious suggestion! If I had my own place I'd breed to him!

What height would the owner be aiming for? I mean, is this mare at the maximum height she is comfortable with?
