Yep shes still in season.. she has toned down on the oestruss but vet is going to give her a course of regumate to get her cycles back to normal. when i was doing her today i had a quick check to see if she was still showing and this was oozing out, wasnt really sure about the colour, she has been having issues with her cycle so hence asking. it kind of has a dirty orangy tinge to it.

Eugh! Sorry! That doesnt look quite right to me, has your vet done an internal?
I dont know your mares history, but has she foaled and had a difficult cleansing?
Other than it being a vaginal infection of some sort, could it be that she had just poo'd and it was 'poo juice'?
If I were you Id ask your vet to do a gyne check

typical bloody vet was out today aswell jabbing my gelding! she had a foal a few years ago when she was 3 but she has been raging in season since october, extremely moody, savage at the other horses and has appeared to be in alot of discomfort with it, her stomach was almost wincing in pain when she was squirting. she seems to have settled down with the oestruss and a slight change in routine. il give it all a clean 2moro and then check it again and see if its the same colour, il email a photo to my vet aswell.

Does it smell nasty? If not, I wouldn't be too concerned; PF can be a bit grim there when in season. Good idea to check with vet though.
