I'm hoping I'm not going to get into trouble..

My horse is up for sale not going to put many details, i put him up a couple of weeks ago at a higher price to attract right kind of buyers but not had any interest.

So what would you pay for: rising five, 17.2, warmblood (not going to put what type) well bred again not going to say what, that has been sat on at three with no problems, long reined, loose schooled over jumps, ridden in walk and trot last summer, got lots of potential etc, turned away over winter because of me being made redundant, and now lunging in pessoa, really sorry if this isnt allowed but I'm getting a bit desperate to sell him as my bills are mounting and not sure if i should drop the price?!
 
i think you may get more response in the competition forum. They're more likely to buy a youngster of that size and breed. Most in here own cobs or ponies ;)
 
Have you tried looking at whats currently on the market for that is similar to your horse in terms of age, breeding and level of work. This is what I would do if I was selling as the market seems poor compared to the last time I was buying. Also have you thought about a loan if you are currently struggling finance wise.
 
Around £2500 as he hasn't really done anything. You can pick up good horses for very little at the moment. I may be well off the mark and prices in the North East are usually cheaper than elsewhere. Have a look at what similar horses are selling for to get an idea.
 
If you want to sell a broken 5 year old he really needs to be shown ridden and at least jumping a small fence, if he is going to be anything other than pure dressage horse, most buyers will expect to try him and would want to be able to walk, trot and canter in a school plus hack up the road.
Lungeing in a pessoa is not going to be of interest or do anything to help with the sale , get him riding and it should make the difference.
If not ridden I would think £2-2500 once going at least £1k more, he doesnt need to be going brilliantly so only a few weeks work.
