............ walking through totally deserted fields with only a loonatic ginger lump of a dog and two tennis balls for company!! :D Especially when you dont live with said lump of dog anymore........ LOVELY walk this morning with my Angel!!

What makes you smile about your dog?

So glad to hear you had a lovely walk with the ginger one:) I think out of all my 3 the one that makes me laugh /smile is Diesel. He does daft thiings Ive never seen another dog do for instance he will stand along side the sofa and just flop back and it leaves him lying in the most comfortable position.:D

Dex is currently dog aqua plaining champ- he is LOVING all the puddles- never fails to make me smile that dog!

I have just walked my sisters Lab with Max - they had a ball hooning through the fields chasing hares:D They cam home soaking wet and knackered having not got within a sniff of a hare:D:D

They are now curled up on the beds in front of the fire with silly grins on their faces:D

Zak likes to sit upright on my knee then do the trust fall backwards thing, hilarious! I have to be ready to catch him!

He also likes to pounce on his squeaky toys like a cat, hence the nickname, Pussy cat. he has to lie down to drink when tired and prefers to drink from the pond. He is hilarious. :D

Bear is always ready to fall asleep and has real difficulties keeping his eyes open once snuggled on a knee. He can fall asleep immediately, so sweet!

Brig likes to be nose to nose for snuggles, quite disturbing, but kinda cute!

Her ears are guaranteed to please me, as she has comical Weimaraner elephant ears, but mostly I just love to watch her run. She smiles as she does it and that is so good to watch.

We took our 12 week old lab for his first "proper" walk today. He finished his injections last week and today was his big day. Such a good little chap, he stayed on the lead because of his age and a deep pond nearby but we were really pleased with him. He trotted along very happily with his little lab tail wagging. Love him so much.

My Cara makes me smile 100 times a day. Her wee sleepy face when she wakes up, her on 7/8ths of the bed and me clinging on to the edge, and gives me a wee kiss. when she drops her bone between the spars of a pallet when i am mucking out and she 'woofs' at me to go and rescue it. How she woofs if there is a tiny bit of something in her water bowl for me to go and clean it, although she drinks out of muddy puddles on walks. The speed she can take off at when she has the sniff of a deer. the funny 'rowf' sound she makes when she wants me to get something for her. how she throws herself upside down to have her tummy rubbed by anyone coming into the house. Brilliant and smart dog who makes life great. sorry to say so much about her but i couldn't settle on one thing.

.......... ten laps of the garden with ones watering can in one's gob! Then ten laps in the other direction!

Pause for a nano second, then come down onto the yard and scoop up a small quantity of gravel into aformentioned watering can. Continue to hoon with can firmly clamped to gob, circumnavigating the yard in alternate directions, taking in the barn and the old stable, whilst avoiding any parked vehicles and human legs! ;) All this whilst shaking the can, which now makes a noise not disssimilar to that of a very loud baby rattle! One can enhance the overall effect by growling, and the humans are often bemused when one shoves the can across the gravel, whilst using vocal sound effects at the same time!:D

High time, me thinks, I put a video up! :D
