Can anyone shed a bit of light on what wrong with my cat??

6 yr old Siamese boy, about 2 months ago he came down with a really bad cold so i took him to the vets, was given antibiotic injection and sent home with tabets, day two he began having fits; spasms and throthing at the mouth, took him to the vets again and they kept him in for 4 night, did blood tests etc, tests came back normal. He continued to have fits so was prescribed epileptic tablets to be taken every day for 3 weeks..the fits stopped and he seemed ok until a few days later, i came home from my OH's and he looked awful, red, runny eyes, tacky coat, thin and very blocked up in the nose etc, took him to emergancy vet (was sunday) and was told he had a really, really bad cold, he couldn't explain the fits. He got a bit better after that visit and thought that was the end of it...until the day after boxing day..he was lying in front of the fire and he was lifeless! I was going out of my mind now, OH phoned the vets and we took him down, i thought that was the end for him TBH, very upsetting day. He perked up in the vets, vet took temp, which was normal, asked about the previous bout of fits and he said it may or may not be a tumor (hate that word), was given yet another injection of antibiotic and a steroid jab. Brought him home and he ate well and drank plenty so still had an appetite. For the past week he has looked great! Coat back to normal, bright blue eyes and his unusal noisy self, just a bit more clingy and growly and my other cats...
Anyway, my dad phoned my when i was at the yard and told me that he's gone down hill again!!! Tacky coat, red eyes, growling when being handled BUT eating is usual food..
Now, im at a complete loss as to what is causing this, i feel sick at the thought of him being ill and not knowing whats wrong.

Can anyone think of whats up with him?

Really have no idea what could be wrong, but will keep everything crossed for him. I know how much my cats mean to me, so can imagine what you are going through. (((Hugs)))

I have no advice, except sadly to echo the thought that it might be feline HIV.....:(

We lost a much-loved cat three years ago to acute kidney failure, so i know how upsetting it is when a pet is ill. i hope you find out what's wrong with him and can help him get a bit better soon.
