The YO owner at my place tell you, then puts it in writing and if you still havent gone, you will find your horse tied to the gate with a haynet... lol, she really doesn't mess about!!
The main thing is that you send a letter by recorded delivery keeping a copy.
The only problem with tying a horse up with a haynet is if the horse gets injured in any way you are liable.
Would you really want a guilty conceince knowing an animal was hurt becuase of your actions. Not saying it would occur but accidents do happen.
If it where me I'd give her so many weeks notice and then if th ehorse was not removed I'd send another RC letter stating if the horse was not removed by a particualr date then court proceedings to have the horse removed would be started.
This usually does the trick.
However the lass may genuinely not have anywhere to go so you could help by giving her some addresses of other yards.
Yes, she was stealing from everyone on the yard! She broke in again at 3 am and was caught in the locked office stealing money!! (undone the padlock screws), as she was caught she escaped by driving through a fence!! So, not harsh at all really
