I'm currently keeping my new pony in East Leake but turnout is likely to be limited over the winter (my share horse was in for 2 weeks solid when the weather was wet last year) so would like any suggestions for yards that offer 24 hr winter turnout? We'll be looking for diy livery, use of stable would be good and with at least an outdoor school and some decent hacking (roads are fine). I live close to Nottingham city centre so close to there would be a bonus.

I'm afraid you will really struggle to get DIY livery around Notts with 24 hour turnout in winter....most places will at least keep in overnight during winter months and many do periods of 24/7 stabling. To be honest, 2 weeks isn't bad at all....both of my last 2 yards kept in for 3 months and 1 1/2 months each!! I'm now moving to somewhere that only has overnight stabling and out during the day...but its Derby way...
I do know of a few around, but they def. dont' do 24 hour turnout...

Good luck!

There are very few that will do 24hr turnout, as said above! There is a place in Cotgrave that allows turnout in all weather but only in the day.

Some yards at Blidworth/Mansfield will offer 24/7 turnout, mainly because the sandy soil allows good drainage, so fields don't get waterlogged. Suggest going along to Hoof-aloof and looking in their book of vacancies for yards in that area.
