Notts/Derby Area Strangles??

Has anyone else heard that there has been a lot of strangles outbreaks in these areas? Ive been told today of yards at Risley, Beeston, Stapleford, Sandiacre.....
Anyone else nearby heard anything?

I've heard St. Leonards (no surprises there then) and Breaston have got it.

Basically all round the PC champs at Draycott then.

I think it started before the champs from what ive heard, as the last club show at long eaton was very poorly attended because of it.

Cottons next to the M1 and Opposite Breaston Eq Centre. So yes, all round Pc Champs.

I've heard about it, but don't know anyone with it. I was contemplating a move in that direction

That's not good, I was supposed to be going to Stydd House for a xc clinic on Saturday but don't want to put D at risk if it's going round.

Without wanting to sound really ignorant how much at risk is your horse if you do go out for the day? How does it transmit?

DWI - its J25 of M1 area we talking about. You will be ok at Stydd House - Its nowhere near.
