Hi everyone,

I'm finally getting into the christmas spirit and starting to think about christmas presents for everyone! *gulp*

I have 3 absolutely pony mad girls to buy for (2 x 9 year old twins and their 13 year old sister) however I don't want to get them something samey as they live on a livery yard and will probably get lots of pink brushes and numnahs!

(they already have heart shaped brushes and make your own horsehair jewellery)

I am also a student so on a budget... no more than £10 each (preferably less if possible!)

Do you, oh wise dwellers of HHO, have any bright ideas?

This is the best I have come up with so far...

Thanks guys!!

Thats a good idea :)

What about shaped patterns for their hind quarters, you know how you can do diamonds/squares? Perhaps (im sure there must be) there are some more girly heart shapes or something?

Or, we have done this for all our liveries this year (and is cheap), personalised mugs? We've just got plain mugs with pictures of their horses on with a name too. Under a tenner on sites like vistaprint or truprint... nice and simple but lasts a while/is handy on the yard :)

Thanks for the ideas!
I like the sound of the quarter markers, they would like them (especially if combined with glittery spray to go on them as well... they love bling!)

I like the idea of mugs for my more mature horsey friends... but I think if I gave the girls something smashable they would get broken on the yard and one of the liveries would end up with a bit of porcelain wedged in their frogs!

Some kind of pink polo shirt/gloves and scarf set/hoody? Basically some sort of equine clothing for them to wear to the yard?

If not glittery hoof polish and glittery quarter spray and quarter markers ... poor ponies :p

I will look into yard wear though, thanks for the suggestion. Know of any places with a decent variety without breaking the bank?

Pfft! The ponies already have a large collection of bling!
Dressage riders worldwide would be envious ;)
I think they have just steeled themselves to the humiliation! They have two very pretty and flashy little welsh superstars and a haflinger, all mares, all bask in attention and I doubt would mind... the girls' mum on the other hand... :P

Get a good picture of their horses and frame it - should come to under £10 each easily. Girlies of that age seem to like the quirky pics like horse sniffing the camera type of shot (I have enough of them to know!!!)
