Cant find my rule book. Can someone tell me how you qualify for a Novice Regional Final?

And what about the "Scottish Novice Championships Qualifiers"??

Sorry having a blonde moment - cant remember!

what BD Novice Regionals? For restricted you have to win two classes - one can be a qualifier and one can be a non qualifier (or two qualifiers, but not too non qualifiers!) and you have to score 65% and over in each one. SO if you get 64.99% and still win you wont qualify.

To qualify for Novice Open its the same but two scores of 66% and over - at least one must be in a qualifier.

BD? sorry I said BE?! We dont do pure dressage, thats far too stressful!!

It says BE

I think it should be the same as at Intro and PN.

Which is a placing (depending on how many in teh class) will qualify you for the regional finals, then I think its 1st and 2nd that go through to the final, something like that!!!

Yep its 1st and 2nd in Novice then usually the top 25% at the NRF who go forward to the champs.

There was a guy in 2005 who was the highest placed EHOA member and he was from Scotland. I know because i had to interview him when he qualified. Cant remember his name tho, been trying to do a search but the new BE webby isnt as easy as the old one to navigate

For BE Novice as already stated 1st or 2nd in a Novice 1 or 2 day qualifies for a NRF. Top 25% in NRF qualify for the championship. Note that if you have 2 1sts or 2nds then you can enter 2 NRF. First 6 in a CCI* qualify directly for the final.

For the Novice Scottish Championship 1st - 3rd in a Novice (including 2 day) in Scotland or in rest of UK if person was either born in Scotland or resident in Scotland. 1st -12th in a CCI* in Scotland or born or Resident etc. Clear XC in 2 intermediates or higher in Scotland.

Think so, although wee grey horse is being super brat at the moment. Probably because he's all sooped up but hasn't had a run. And the ground is so hard with us (although tiny, tiny bit of rain this afternoon)...

Noodlejaffa - Yeah, know what you mean about the ground. Rained a bit here yesterday but not nearly enough. Fingers crossed it has a good few downpours before then. Dont fancy running on concrete again.
