Novice best turned out class

Hi!
I was just wondering a few things about best turned out classes, am planning on entering one next week.
Are you required to canter in it? (My horse is very green)
Am I able to wear my black show jacket? It's only a local show. Also, do I wear a stock or a tie with it as its showing?

You shouldn't be required to do anything but walk.
Black jackets really shouldn't be in the show ring on a female, maybe you could try and borrow a navy off a friend? If not, it's not the end of the world And you need a tie not a stock
