Rudy is driving me to drink. Today I had booked an hour agility lesson to split between Rudy and Freddie. At the end of Rudy's first section he suddenly came up 3 legged lame. He seems OK now but I'm planning on taking him to work tomorrow to at least pull bloodwork in case I need to start him on NSAIDs. We also need to check his right shoulder. He grumbles when I pick it up and I'm thinking probable arthritis due to his age and activity level. Did I mention he's driving me to drink?

Step away from the bottle ...

Seriously though, hope you can get him more comfortable and he is back to full fitness soon. I think we need to see pics of your dogs btw ;)

That's dogs for you! Hope he'll be ok. Could it be related to that tweak he had the other week?
One of mine had a shoulder injury he came back from, before I owned him, but he was pretty young.
What age is he now?

Moobli,
if I could figure out how to post a picture here I would share one of him.
He seems a better this morning so I'm going to wait until later in the week to take him in. We're booked solid today and I haven't had enough sleep to deal with everything.

What a PITA. If it makes you feel better both my yellows are lame, Ffee must have tweaked something training yesterday (I'm so neurotic I immediately think elbows gone, that's the end and lie awake all night worrying. She is sound as a pound this morning but on light duties, well I'm trying. Tawny has got cracks as usual, she hates this ground.
ETA - Just thought as you are in the US you may not know how hot and dry it is here at the moment.
I've got my first training session on Monday (1-2-1) for ages and at this rate I'll be taking Brandy! (the old girl)

Rudy is feeling much better this evening and is quite annoyed that I made him take it easy. I'll do a blood draw and maybe an x-ray on Thursday. I'm glad I didn't today since it was crazy busy at work. It was a 3 day weekend in the USA and we had a lot of people that didn't go to the emergency clinic that should have.
