Now I've seen it all!

Well the dog certainly seems happy and healthy. Maybe it's our idea that a dog should have at least 3 legs that is the problem. I'm not sure the majority of dogs would cope on just 2.

My friend had a dog who had been hit by a car, his front leg was contracted and useless and on the same side the back leg did not work effectively and he only used it to balance. He also ran around on two legs on the same side very effectively and fast. On occasion he would go out with the horses, not encouraged as his road sense left a little to be desired. He was happy and enjoyed life.

He was pts due to an unrelated condition. However his disability meant that whilst a dog with four legs would perhaps just be quiet he was unable to balance and get up, this was taken into account when he was pts. He was a huge character and is very much missed by everyone who knew him.
