... but B has a MAHOUSIVE bag and the ligment that disects it is pretty much no longer making it look like it has 2 halves - in other words, it's looking like one udder. It's also extending forwards a bit along her abdomen. But as yet it is not tight and although the muscles around her tail are slackening, her vulva is VERY tight. Still, I'm not convinced that she will make it to the end of April.... Last cover date is May 22nd. There is a high chance that I will start sleeping up in the lorry soon - everything is ready.

Just thought some of you might like to know.

Oh my.......a bag like that is generally a good indication don't you think? That combined with & a very puffy enlongated vulva...............maybe you aren't going to have to wait much longer after all !!

Good luck.......my maiden mare is due in two weeks........I'm thinking that she may be about just on time. Her hindquarters have been slackening for the past three / four weeks (still not "jellylike" enough though", there are changes to her udder (although still not what you could call a bag), & very minor changes to her vulva. Foalie is very active inside her, so not engaged yet.

Will you post again as to B's condition, & phone me when anything happens?

ooh how exciting!! Lets hope the weather gets a bit nicer incase it does arrive before the end of April. Mine is due early May and I dont think she is going to make it to that date, she is bagging up already and very loose in the tail!

It's quite warm here, atm, so I'm not too worried, but yes, I have all the above to hand

I've told her hang on a while though, as she's only 313 days today, so would be a bit too early for comfort really....
