Nowzad who rescue dogs and cats which soldiers have befriended whilst at war are now trying to help horses and donkeys in Afghanistan.

Horses & DonkeysHorses and Donkeys are used widely as working animals in Afghanistan but all too often they will suffer painful injuries caused by poorly fitting head collars and harnesses that are made from chains. We can help prevent these injuries by providing simple, homemade fabric covers hat fit over the chains making them more comfortable for the animal to wear and preventing injury. They rescue cats and dogs and move them to the UK and US? Is that correct? If so, what the hell...we don't need any more rescued animals, our bloody rescue centre are already full of unwanted pets! If you can't rehome them in Iraq/Afghanistan just put them to sleep.
 
They also do alot of educational work with the local people which by all accounts is very much needed!!
Sometimes simple things like advising that a goat is moved a few feet so it can graze instead of standing on bare land or providing water, simple things that we take for granted but may not be obvious to others.
I think they do a fab job.

Did you actually read my post or simply not comprehend what its about? I did not ask you to rescue a dog or cat from abroad or your opinion about it , what I did say is that if anyone had the time to make a noseband cover for the horses, donkeys and I suspect mules aswell to relieve their suffering then they could get the link to pattern from this site and that it would make a difference to an animals life in another country. If you don't want to do that fair enough.
