Can't decide which one, is there much difference? Anybody here used either of these? Need a bit that is gentle, has curved arms so gives tongue relief and not much room in mouth so thought the 14mm size? The team up comes in a 12mm size too but wondered if that was too thin? So many questions ...

I started my mare with the dove, and then progressed on to the starter bit after she chewed through the dove. I then went on to the team up bit about 2 years later, and now at the age of 9 she is in a loose ring snaffle with the trans lozenge. I have never needed a stronger bit for doing anything other than hacking with unreliable types, so if I feel there might be a risk of a mass bolt I put in a universal (once in a blue moon). If in doubt, call Neue Schule and they can advise you. Heather is brilliant at talking things through with you and put to rest all my worries about using a pelham with trans link for the purposes of competing at the Royal Bath and West (now moth balled for a while). So over the space of 5 years, all I have needed to do is change to a bit with a little more tongue pressure to refine outline and turning, and she eve had an 8 year old walk, trot and canter her a week ago.
