NS universal bit

Sorry, I know it should be in Stable Yard but never get any answers there

I have been borrowing a friends NS Universal bit for eventing, but now am having to buy my own as our eventing dates are clashing on Sunday

Just wondered, the website gives a choice of a 16mm or 18mm - any ideas which one is "standard" or is it really down to individual horse preference? I was hoping to order it tonight, but dont really want to have to drive back to the yard to measure the bit

They come in different sizes the 18mm is only available in a 5 1/2 " whereas the 16mm is available in anything but a 5 1/2 " so it depends what size you need. That's from what I can see form their site.

Oh I hadnt even looked that closely

I need a 5 1/2" so that answers my question then - thanks jumptoit
