Ns verbindend universal v Jeffries Eldonian minos precision

Can anyone tell me the difference between these two bits - is it just the metal, or are they different in design? Has anyone used either, or both? Thanks!

I have the Jeffries and as far as I can see it is identical to the NS, but British and cheaper.

Ditto. Alf really likes his, and goes beautifully in it

Funnily enough I was looking in the local tack shop at both bits to see what, if any, difference there was and found that apart from the obvious difference in shape of the bit, the Jefferies one was also a bit thicker (especially by the lozenge).

If anyone has tried both I would be very interested in how the horse went in both.
