I am looking at a saddle on eBay which says it's an NSC saddle - has anyone heard of this make? Looks like an Ideal jumping saddle but I am not sure? Found a NewZealand make under this name but nothing else.

Many thanks Viva. Is the logo a red background with a gold NSC in a box? So it's basically a rebadged Ideal, but is a genuine Ideal saddle?

They are ideal saddles and sold as ideal the badge is just for marketing. on mine they are brown background with NSC on

I have one (and I've seen a few others) and it's very nice, comfy and secure with nice wide panels and gullet. I bought it from a friend who'd bought it new and it has a brown badge with NSC on it. Not top quality but good (certainly better quality that a K&M or Saddle Company). I have googled the name and nothing much comes up, they don't seem to have a catalogue for their own branded saddles so I have no idea what model mine might be and if it is rebranded I have no idea what brand it was originally (it doesn't look like an Ideal to me). I'd probably buy another.

Many thanks for everyone's replies, they were all very helpful😊

Confirmed it is the same as your Marmalade76 just a different model, and so called Jo Beavis at National Saddle Centre, who was the most helpful person! Even though I obviously had no intention of buying a saddle from her (I am too far away!) she was so helpful in explaining these are saddles that carry her badge but are made by Ideal for her. She also explained the sizing on the saddles (particularly for the type of jump saddle I am looking for!) and advised the saddle I was thinking of bidding on would probably have been too small, so I have decided to try and find one locally that I can try. But, I just wanted to let you folks know how helpful Jo was because she chatted to me for quite awhile about the saddle and my pony and while I know she can't fit it without seeing pony and saddle together, her advice based on what I told her, has probably saved me from buying the wrong saddle. It is nice when someone will help and advise, even if there is nothing in it for them 😊
