Today we had 3 clears in the 70/75 (only had 3 riders!) and have qualified for the Championship Plate in November as a team with Katie on Max qualifying as an individual too.
Katie is rapidly discovering the thrill of riding a pony as good as Max so I think his sale is on hold for now while Ginny remains out of action with an uncertain future. (Vet is still only giving her 50:50 odds of returning to work). She seems very confident on him so fingers crossed.

Jenny was awesome too - little pocket rocket. They both went out all guns blazing in the 80/85 and took it a bit TOO fast and both had a silly pole at straight forward fences. But overall a very good day.

Aww, fantastic! Absolutely brilliant that Katie is getting on with Max. Sounds like you might have an exciting 2019 in store between the three of you

Yes it is fab. Though the politics of twin 1 doing well with the pony twin 2 could not manage could get interesting....... Still that's life. Not all partnerships work through no fault of either party!
 
ha, well that explains it! When I read your post I was wondering whether to ask hang on a minute who is the other person but then you partially resolved it for me! :D I'm pleased Max might get to stay too and as other daughter got a very nice new pony out of it I don't think she can be too upset by that :)
 
She's delighted Max is staying. She really missed him and is loving having him back on the yard. I am just not sure she wants her sister to keep beating her while riding her own old pony!! There was less than a second between them today but that was the difference between qualifying or not qualfying as Katie nickked the last individual qualification spot. But as I said that's life. She'll just have to accept that she and Max had come to the end of the road and if Katie can ride him then they will do well. She absolutely adores Jenny so that does make everything easier! She's such a lovely, sweet pony and Izzy does not regret moving on from Max at all. x
 
It doesn't help when the ponies have "human" names too. I was convinced for a while with your earlier posts that one of the girls was called Ginny! Brilliant write-up and great that they're doing so well. Takes the pressure of rushing Ginny's recovery too if they've both got a pony they enjoy riding.
