Hi. Just need a little help on deciding whether to splash out on the this numnah. I have an Everyday one which I am very pleased with but is beginning to fade and I wanted a new one for 'best' but don't know if to pay the extra - is it worth it? Has anyone used both types? £50 for a numnah is a lot of money for me!
Thanks for any advice

I've been gradually replacing all my numnahs with the Nuumed HiWither half-wool - I think they're great and they wash really well. My oldest one is about 4 years old and looks almost like new apart from slight fraying where the girth lies. And it's done hundreds of endurance miles.

All my numnahs are Numed, IMO they are the best!
I have full wool because the half wool finishes before the pannel on my WOW saddle, so you get a ridge.
Just a thought, depending on what style your saddle is.

I have one too as it was recommended by my saddler. I really love it and just chuck it in the washing machine every month or so and it comes up like new.

have 2 and had them for many years (one is probably 8 and another 4!) I use newish ones for hunting and the oldish ones (that frayed and gone flatter) for hacking during hot summer. Poly pads other times of year. recommend them to anyone.

Tip... To keep it fluffy and soft use slicker brush and brush away!

Thanks for all replies - it sounds like it is worth paying the extra for the half wool. However I have a WH saddle so will check if better having the full wool - I know that they do a WH style that has a snug fit but I prefer the GP.
£70 for a numnah...only using for best!!
Thanks again everyone

I have got a white numnah C if you want to try that - but I thought you were after just a half one?!

We have @ 4 of what is now the sixth one down onthis page

and they are FAB. As one of the other posts has mentioned the only thing is a little wear at the point where the girth sits on the cloth but that's after what must be at least 6 year (minimum) and they've been through the wringer, literally

Unless they have change the fabric to a lesser quality one (unlikely) they are worth the price, as long as you follow the care instructions etc.

Try dare I say it - ebay
