Numb thumb!

Ok, so I spent a couple of hours on Saturday spraying the dock in my field with one of those knap sack sprayer things. You have to keep pressing the button on the sprayer as mine are fairly spread out and I did not want it on continuously as it is wasteful. I had a somewhat numb thumb afterwards as you would expect...however...whilst it has improved, it is now Monday and part of it down one side is still numb feeling

Do you think I have damaged it in some way???
