HI, my 6 yr old mare has developed some movable squidy lumps around her hip area. One came up last week after she spooked and bucked her rider off; she continued to buck and was obviously lame immediately afterwards and then the lump appeared. The next day she was not lame - a physio checked her over and found no lameness but also stated she had not seen anything like it before as it is completely movable. Tonight there were more lumps - all slightly movable and varying in size from a 10p to 50p. They do not hurt her directly but I feel they may have been the cause of her out of character bucks the other day suggesting they cause pain when they move??? Any ideas? I am dreadfully worried but have the vet coming tomorrow - I was just hoping someone could allay my fears.
