I have just bought a stephens half pad numnah which is sheepskin (fluff)on the underside. I bought it to help raise the saddle off his back. but can you ride with it over a thin cotton saddle cloth? any help??

yep you can - although beware it (the half pad not the cotton numnah!!) may alter the fit of the saddle, however if this is what you're aiming for then yep you deffo can

Yeah course. Everybody does that in BSJA darling!! Wear it between the saddle and a saddlecloth. But keep the saddlecloth as thin as possible (as Helena88 says, it can alter the fit).

I wear mine like this, but then I have to as my boy is sensitive backed - if I jump without my stephens pad then I get bronced off....!!
