just got a new synthetic saddle, ive never had one before

someone mentioned to me that using a synthetic saddle you should not use a synthetic material for the numnah? i haven't heard this before, wondering if anyone else has? soemthing to do with friction

im reluctant to get a sheepskin one as my saddle fits really well and saddler told me to use a thin numnah.

any ideas? or should i just stick to the basic half cotton/polyester numnah?

I have a wintec, and I've always used whatever numnah I needed too. I've used poly pads, and normal cotton ones and atm I'm using a half sheep skin lined one because it makes the saddle fit much much better. I've never had a problem using any numnah with my synthetic saddle.

Havent heard that before :S
I have loads of numnahs/saddlecloths (I cant help myself buying ones I like) and I use whichever I fancy using at the time
