I have asked for a new numnah for my birthday (not FOR me). The person buying it does not have a lot of money so really expensive ones are out and I would prefer black or white to fit an 18 inch saddle. I was looking on ebay and the wool ones look reasonable.

I was wondering if they are any good and do they wash well? The griffen numed ones in particular look reasonable priced?????

I have a Griffin NuuMed for my mare (as advised by my saddler). I found it made her much more comfortable and it washes up well on a 40degC wool wash with Persil Wool as the detergent. In fact I liked it so much I splashed out on another one for my daughter's pony

I do like these, have a couple of bartl ones now and they are fab, wash well too!

As have been mentioned Nuumed & Bartle are great but expensive. Get your friend to have a look at these, they are good quality, reasonably priced & are a good size & fit.

Thanks everyone - I bought a nuumed one today - it was expensive so I will pay part of the cost as well - it is VERY nice as well
