What's your favourite sort of numnah?

Quilted or light, shaped or square, plain or coloured?

I love those light, padded, shaped white ones. They look so fancy

Griffin everyday numnahs, they are the thinnest I can find and they stay put. I hate using thick numnahs, I don't see the point of paying for my saddler to fit my saddle and then sticking a whacking great numnah underneath! My horse doesn't need anything under the saddle, so I use as little as possible to just keep the saddle clean.
I do want one of those velvet saddlecloths for SJing though!

Griffin high withered saddlecloths, all mine are white and used for everyday and show. used to use polly pads but have gone off them completely (apart from special cases of poor fitting saddles)
When eventing we use the prolite saddlecloths with integrated pad (cant remember name)

I like thin ones as thick ones can interfere with saddle fit, I have one with thermatex wicking fabric which is great, think it may be cottage craft. I also like white as you can put it in a hot wash, coloured ones fade too quickly.

I love saddlecloths - dont really get along with numnahs

no real reason though, I just prefer them.

And I also have a half sheepskin pad which is GORGEOUS!

Only use saddlecloths and polypads. Have a really nice Eskadron one for Alisha's dressage saddle and have just ordered her a JW velvet one with her name on for my jumping saddle. I like the shires saddlecloths for Jiggy!

I just use polypads, always have done always will do. With a prolite if necessary... and I do the sinful thing of using the same saddle on all horses, tut tut. Hence why Id rather use a polypad and prolite than a thin numnah.

The nuumed saddlecloths are very nice too !

I have a griffin saddle cloth and it's fab, washes well and wicks away sweat. Best of all, it's really pretty!
The rest are cottage craft numnahs which dont fit the same.
