HI! Does anyone feed the Dodson and Horrell Safe and Sound? Reviews? I have just moved my boy yards and at the other he fit into another ponies feeding regime so had mollichop and an economy mix. He is a Welsh X Warmblood and is a good doer! Doesn't do much as he's still half field ornament. My thinking is the safe and sound will probably be better for him - thoughts? Less molasses so less heating.

All my horses are on safe and sound because they love it - just Axle has Alfa A added as does not keep wait on.

Some have a bit of sugar beet and others just water to mix in.

I fed it too my TB for the last few winters- He did well on it, looked good (he was a good doer anyway and only in light work) He stayed fairly calm as opposed to Mollichop type chaff and nuts and its just so easy!

Good stuff, fed it to all of mine. Very similar to Happy Hoof but I think it smells nicer! Not sure why that should matter to my horses but it made me buy it and nobody ever left any lol! :)

I keep two WB on it. One is a good doer, the other not. Both do equally well on it. I feed to recommended amounts according to their weight and they get a couple of carrots or an apple to make it a bit juicier...
