ok double bridles???? can you use a martingale with them? and if so does it go on lowest rein or the highest???

and if not does anyone know why not?

sorry if this sounds like a really numpty question but??????? thanksxx

Well normally you wouldn't but you could either use a standing martingale or a running on the snaffle rein if necessary.

Well in theory a running martingale would be on the curb rein, but since you don't want to end up with a horse rearing up and backwards on you, IF it is used it is put on the bradoon rein. Because the snaffle is to raise the head and the curb to position the head.

Some hunting/eventing/show jumping people use a double and martingale, but not very often!
