Numpty question about numnahs!

Yep - all horsey stuff gets chucked through our poor machine!! At 30 or 40, I don't tumble dry them though, just leave them over a chair to dry and all good to go!

All my horsey washing goes through the machine... boots, sheets, numnahs you name it! I do put my hubbys work cloths through first though before I put any of my good stuff through... I dont tell him of course ;)

Providing you’re nothing like me then yes lol, I’m an expert at shrinking the dam things, so I have to buy a new one every time I feel like doing some stressage.

I used to think if I did them on a high temp wash, it would make them whiter…..instead I just made them smaller!:o

I’ve since tried to keep them cleaner and tend do them on a cool wash, never tried tumble drying, my OH has banned me from using the TD button for obvious reasons!!!, I just hang them out to dry naturally, don’t use a radiator as that tends to shrink them too.

Thanks everyone , its now in on 30 , that should get the worst off at least! It's looking like it might rain so I'll just put it on the (turned off) radiators to dry :)

I always run the hoover over them first to get the worst of the fluff off. Wash at 30 degrees and I wouldn't risk tumble drying them. They seem to dry in a couple of days on the airer.

I'm obviously mad because I wash mine very frequently at 40 degrees and they are sheepskin Nuumed ones! Never had any problems, although I have invested in a proper wash bag you put them in to stop the horse hair going on the next load - bit itchy if it's your knickers!!!
