when you look at a horsey add, when it says forward going but safe does safe mean there not a bolter????

I know this is so stupid but i have to ask lol

It more means that you dont have to sit there flapping like your gonna take off just to get into trot, but also there not going to go straight into a fast canter the minute you squeexe with your leg. Hope that helps:)

probably like my old lad. Gives a good ride without much encouragement. But if you are wobbling around and dont have a good seat that could put you off.

safe means when the horse wont purposely hurt you, and will rarely or never buck, rear and probably not bolt either.

Thanks girls i know it means different things to different people.
Maybe just me i just don't want to make the same mistakes as before because all mine were bolters, and im looking for a sane and sensible ride this time, as not got alot of confidence this time round but before it didn't bother me.
