Betsy is about 6 and a half months old now and we are hoping to get her spayed in about month (to co-incide with my time off work!) But in the meanwhile I am very aware she could have her first season... and other than blood on the carpet I have no idea what I'm looking for!!
What signs should I look out for that she is actually coming into season?
Will she still be ok mixing with a neutered male and unspayed bitch puppy (Parents dogs!)? Or should I just keep her in complete isolation? Obviously there will be zero off lead activity should she decide to be awkward and have one!
How long after a season should I wait before she can be spayed?
Fingers crossed she doesnt have one before we can get her in for the op! She has been paying extra attention to her lady bits today so I'm paranoid!
