For the last six months I have feed my horse bruised oats, Speedi Beet and Benevit. Also Cortaflex as a preventative only as he is fifteen.
Can someone tell me if he is likely to be short of anything. He only gets about four pounds of oats and two scoop of soaked beet per day. He was out 24/7 but is now in at night. Unlimited haylege of good quality.
He is lightly worked - about three/four times per week schooling /dressage/lungeing.
It is just that I hav e fed cubes and mixes for many years along with suppliments and I suspect this has been unnecessary and expensive.
Oh and he looks fabulous and is bright eyed and bushy tailed but does not go OTT on oats.
