We turned nutty up the top field with all he girls
she charged about like a 3 year old
and then stuffed her belly full of grass
at bed time she came trotting over and very happy to go in!
at 9 pm
she was cow kicking and trying to get down
she hadn't eaten her hay or carrots!
So firstly I thought oh she is foaling
then I thought oh no maybe colic!
so I put her a deep bed of straw down and before I had finished laying it she was down
she got up and down 3 times, then started eating her carrots and the straw!!
Hubby thinks she is foaling - but there's still no udder, I am ready to call the vet at any point I think she is in trouble if not I will be calling first thing in the morning.
I am watching her on the monitor she is just dozing at the mo!
also she keeps winking out clear white slim and in my books they say this happening before foaling
but in 14 years of breeding and 40 odd foals I have never seen this before!
I am so worried about my girlie she is the world to me.
