I have a griffin nuumed hi-wither forward cut close contact saddle pad in large size for jumping which is lovely! Only prob is it's a real tight fit with my saddle, my saddle's supposedly 17.5" and is right up to the edge of the saddle cloth so am thinking of getting the same saddle cloth but in extra-large, but because they're quite expensive I want to make sure it's worth it so was wondering how much bigger the extra-large one is? Or if anyone has a nuumed saddle cloth n could let me know the measurements then I can check it against my saddle before buying.

Thanks!

The large nu-med hi-wither numnah fits my 17.5 GP saddle but the nu-med squares are cut smaller and I need extra large.

I only have dressage squares, so I can only relate to their sizing. There is a significant difference between large and ex-large, both in length and depth.
If you drape a towel over your horse and then try the numnah on you could take it back if you thought it was the wrong size as it would be clean and hair free

Sounds like the extra-large is the way to go, glad I'm not the only one to find the jumping saddle cloths come up smaller! Will try it with a towel with my saddle in case it isn't right so can send it back - gd suggestion lfield

Hoping that if the extra-large is better then I can sell my large one on ebay as it is such a lovely saddle cloth and I've only used it 2/3 times for a few SJ rounds so looks like new! Would think I could get a decent bit for it...?
