Hello :)

I'm thinking about getting a nuumed numnah. However I don't no which one?
I'm thinking about getting a half wool one? But I'm not sure because my saddler told me (new saddle resently) that I only need a thin one. So should I get a normal cotton nuumed one?

Also my horse I med/low withered so should I get the non high wither one? Although the website says the high wither ones are good for any horse?

Thankyou :D

They are great and the thin cotten ones are good quality.....our ex racer has just a thin cotten gp high wither and goes great in it, any thicker and it makes his saddle pinch.

I found the high withered one is better than a normal one on almost all horses except completely witherless coblets.

They are very nice and for most horses, thin Nuumed ones are a lot more comfy that great big fat ones. I would try without fur first and then see.

I would follow your saddler's advice. If the saddle fits well, the you only need a thin, basic numnah. The Nuumed everyday cotton numnahs are great. I've had some for years and they hold their shape even after regular washing. My TB has got to have the high-wither type, so I've never bought a non-high-wither one and therefore I'm not sure what they would be like, but I would have thought that you can't go wrong in getting a high-wither. As long as the size of the numnah is the right size for the size of your saddle.

I have a high-withered horse and these are the best numnahs around - not found anything else as good. They wash well and last a long time so worth the money. I prefer the half-wool they are not thick and I think it helps wick away moisture form the skin better and are softer than the plain.

agree with above about the cotton ones, they are great and hardwearing. If you did want some extra padding Morpheus Designs for a version with shorter pile wool which I found not so bulky but still good for my fine skinned tb in winter.
