NVQ 2

Hi,

I am starting an NVQ 2 tonight, it is run by a local riding school. I am really nervous as I haven't ridden another horse other than my own for at least 4 years!

Has anyone else done one and what can I expect in the riding part!

I did my NVQ's many many moons ago!

Nothing too difficult in the riding part as I recall, just basic riding with a contact and having the horse going well. We used to run the course at the Riding school I worked at and it was just like any other riding lesson really.

Enjoy it! Thats the key!

I did my NVQ a few years ago and it was great fun, you are just expected to ride W T and C and jump a small course of jumps, nothing too difficult, just enjoy it!!!!

i did mine a *hum* few yeards ago...you are expected to walk trot and canter but dont worry about it too much...my confidence was shattered before i went to duchy and i completed it in 6 moths...
