A late start for a change - just meant a late finfish though!
Quite relaxed day arrived 1ish walked xc - it looked very small, even Intermediate track didn't look very big to me (must be getting brave!) half of me wished i was in the Novice but know it wouldn't have been fair to ask him this soon after coming sound....
Off to dressage on very relaxed Bud - from needing at least an hour now i only need 15-20 mins!! did lovely test was really pleased, turned out to get 36.5 which was very disappointed with
judge obviously not keen on us!
On to SJ - and looked like no one was going clear, it wasn't very big and quite few uprights which were going flying! warmed up fine but as was hard only jumped few fences. went in and wild boy was back!! jumped lovely clear and more relaxed than Stafford but still room for improvement!!
XC - he got so excited in warm up and could hardly put one leg on the ground over to start box!! flew out start box and over first 4 fences rather quickly! Jumped everything no problem just needed them a bit bigger to back him off as he was bit strong then put few chip ins but all in all he was fab as usual didn't look at anything!
As we were late in day didn't have to wait long for scores
over loud speaker annouced i was in places! so after looked at photos (which weren't v good) went over to score board, i asked what time prize giving would be and was told there wouldn't be one just handing out after places put up?!?
So i ended up 6th
only 9 clears SJ in my section! i won a bottle of mane and tail condition spray and a red plastic thing with sharp pointy bit on?!?!?!? I do feel PN prizes in kind are on embarrassing side when you folk out £64 odd to enter!!
So all in all very good day double clear and i felt a good test - so my boy is well and truly back one more OPN run this season then hopefully bring on the N runs next year! i love him so much and so very proud of him, we haven't had much luck and to get placed last 2 runs makes me so happy.
