OBAMA CHANGE AMERICAN HEALTH CARE?????

Will he change American Health Care?? His cites his mother negotiating with US Insurers for (bascially) the right to live.

In 1992/3? My husband and I were in Mexico -jet lagged we watched TV in the small hours. Hilary Clinton in front of senate trying her best to change the American Healthcare system. Brilliant lady, calm and factual in response. She acheived nothing! American taxpayers did not want the poor to have the same healthcare as the rich. This in the wealthiest economy in the world.

America was much richer then!! Go for it Obama! We wish you luck.

I think he will do ... he will have Hilary on his side, for a start!! Also a Congress and Senate that now is Democratic, so hopefully won't block legislation. 'Cos its shameful that one of the richest and most powerful nations in the world has one of the highest infant death rates in the west ..... I hope that Obama will reintroduce a more caring community spirit in the US, vs the individualistic "go for greed" culture of the past few years

(But will he do anything about gun control, I wonder???)
