SDSC at Far Lane Ockbrook, anyone else go today, so how did you do, I didn't take his lordship this time but hoping to next time.

Had a nice time taking daughters pony and watching him jump ect.:)

Blast, didn't realise it was on today! Ah well. Like the people, but find the going a bit lumpy in places. Good burgers there though lol. That's the first showground I walked Dizz round and she was a star :)

How did daughter do? :)

Heard daughters pone did really well, she seemed really pleased....I didn't go today but hoping to have a hack down there for the next one if anyone else is hacking down?...
 
I was there, took Katie for a trip out, i was suprised how busy it was there were some large classes, i went in the cob class and we came 3rd despite me riding like a muppet! Then miss hearing the judge and putting myself in the line up lower down as i was listening for the wrong number!! duh! Good job the judge had a sense of humour think she needed it today! she did comment on how fresh Katie was lol roll on the next one!!
 
We went too with OH's horse. After a fizzy start Shiney settled down and they came 1st in the Cob class, husbands first time out in the show ring, so really pleased.

And well done again Keltic, your horse is lovely.
 
The next one is Sun the 2nd of May, going to have to get some jumping practice in before hand :p if I am going to have a go, I have only ever done mimius and Handy pony a few years back, I am a hacking tramp and pleasure rider rather than the show stuff, I get all flustered with the classes clothing attire and tannoy listening ect. :confused:

Yes the ground was rather lumpy, daughters Pony did find the going a bit strange we thought, I managed to spill hot chocolate over my hand stumbling in a bump comeing away from the burger bar :(
