i am selling my lovely horse but he has failed the 5 star vetting with a red eye. The vet says he is showing signs of Ocular cancer - can anyone fill me in on what this is and is it treatable?
I believe that the only treatment is to have the eye removed, which is a straight forward surgical procedure. However I would get the condition confirmed first by an occular specialist whowould be based at the large equine hospitals. I know Liphook has one
Sorry but that was the only treatment I have come across. nowadays they may be able to do laser therapy or something? Also as said make sure you get him referred to an occular specialist
